Excellent series that ran for only one season and featured the exploits of Confederate cavalryman John S. Moseby and starred Tod Andrews. The show aired from 1958-59, and also featured a historical consultant. There are episodes available on VHS, but none commercially on DVD except for a few "bootleg" editions. Does anyone remember this fine series?

I remember watching it. I was 9 years old at the time and we had an old Zenith black and white TV. My dad loved it and I remember watching it with him.

I remember it too. Although I grew up in California as a boy, I had an affinity for anything Confederate as a kid. Maybe it was the old underdog thing. Anyone interested in that series should know we have four of our guest stars at this year's festival who appeared on it. Dick Jones did twice, and Robert Fuller, Dirk London, and his wife Jan Shepard each guested on the series one time. Perhaps if someone asks they'll be able to recall something about it.

Dont know what's up with this reply mode, but I promise I have typed Jones' first name twice correctly and if time it's come out "thingy". Go figure.

I do remember The Gray Ghost! I was beginning to think it was a figment of my imagination. I hope I get to ask them some questions about it. But from what I've been hearing about the festivals in Kanab last year & Scottsdale, Arizona this year, the lines for Clint Walker have been so long, I may be spending all my time there!
