WoW!!!! Already in gear for 2011, I'm counting the months, weeks, days and even the hours. Just now coming off my 2010 MFF "HIGH." Glad to see new faces on the guests list, plus I hope 2010 guests will be in attendance for 2011. Everyone, who would you like to see again in 2011?

I know how you feel . . . as I sit at my desk this morning - I think - wow just three weeks ago I was there . . . I couldn't wait to get there and it just went by so fast.
I will be back for James Stacy next year, I would love to again see Darby Hinton and Robert Fuller - oh and William Smith - he was a hoot. And wouldn't it be fun if Wayne Maunder came next year too?
I noticed looking back on some of the previous gatherings - that Henry Darrow made one. I could kick myself that I didn't know about these gatherings before this year - I would love to see Henry Darrow.
Ya'll have a great day!

It would be great to see Johnny Crawford with Jeff Connors. William Smith and Peter Brown together would be terrific too. How about a pairing of on-screen partners next year? Then of course it would be the highlight of GOG to have James Stacy with Wayne Maunder. Be really fine to have Robert Conrad there along with James Garner, not on-screen partners but both great cowboys!

The new line up looks great already and I will certainly be back next year. I had a terrific time this year.
I did meet Henry Darrow last year and he was wonderful! What a nice gentleman! It would be grat to see himn back again.
Johnny Crawford would be excellent to meet there, too. His brother, Bobby Crawford, was in "Laramie" with Robert Fuller, too.
Lots of great pairings could take place. Let's hope!

TV Star is going to be at the Festival next year Peter Brown of Lawman! Did anybody notice where "Lawman" is going to start playing on the Western Encore Channel Thursday July 1, 2010 at 9:00 AM.

It's always fun to meet different actors. I really like some that I haven't had the chance to see. This year was Clint Walker and Hugh O'Brian, Darby Hinton and a few others. I would like them all back, but understand that they have other places to go and things to do. This next year line-up looks good and I am looking forward to what is available. I would like to see Ed Faulkner as I find he was in so many shows and movies that I watch. Please..Please..Please... bring Johnny Western back again!! I love his voice and Les Gilliam also!.. they made the dinner very special.

Ed Faulkner is a wonderful one to think of - I met him elsewhere a couple of years ago and what a wonderful, gracious man . . . . if he is not booked elsewhere, I'll betcha he would love to be there!

Sorry but I'm switching the subject for a second . . . .
If you go to James Stacy's website - he has a message for all of us fans plus a little surprise for us all . . . . he's singing to us.
VERY COOL!!!!

We like reuniting people. Just confirmed Dennis Holmes today, who played "Mike Williams" on Laramie for about 60 episodes. He was one of two kids on the series who were on at different times. Robert Crawford, Johnny's brother, was the other. Holmes will be reunited with Robert Fuller who has agreed to return for a third time. Of course we've already added Robert Wolders from "Laredo" and because of that we're bringing back William Smith. It will be great to see those three Rangers together. Someone asked about Robert Conrad and James Garner. Afraid that wil never happen. Have written Conrad previously. Never received a reply. Hear he's not in good health. That's certainly true for James Garner. He had a stroke over a year ago. If he was healthy, I know he'd still be working.

Great to hear about reuniting people. Very cool that Robert Wolders and William Smith will be there next year with Peter Brown!!!! AWESOME WORK!!!!
Too bad to hear about Robert Conrad. "Wild Wild West" was and still is a big favorite. And the same for James Garner, another personal favorite of my parents and me! Grew up with him. Is there anyway for you to send well wishes to them both...would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for the updates.

Have some addresses for Messers Garner and Conrad. Can't guarantee they'll work or that you'll received any kind of response. Know in Mr Garner's case if you were to write for an autograph you would get a note saying he doesn't do them anymore. James Garner, 2515 Fountain Hill Loop, Lincoln, CA 95648; Robert Conrad, P.O. Box 337, Sunland, CA 91041-337

Thanks for the addresses. Since neither one would be possible. Here's another "team" of sorts. Ben Murphy of Alias Smith & Jones with Geoff Duel (Peter's younger brother). I watched John Wayne's "Chisum" and he played Billy the Kid. Looked just like his brother.
Another cast member from "Chisum" that was in a couple of Lancer episodes would be Andrew Prine.

I just wanted to comment on the atmosphere of the Festival this year (2011). The cut outs placed around the lobby area as well as the old western house setting was beyond any expectations. It really set the place to the mood of the old west. I sure hope that future festivals will go into the atmosphere setting again. It was a wonderful backdrop for photos. The designer should be applauded for the authenticity of the project. Bravo!

You are all so lucky to attend these festivals. As I'm in England it isn't quite so easy and as my husband isn't a western fan (more into football) then I can't see that I will ever be able to attend. You all seem such wonderful people and it would have been great to meet you. Maybe one day in the not too distant future. Enjoy your time at the festivals.xx
