Would love to see Memphis add a guest from the classic television western "Have Gun Will Travel" or perhaps the radio program with the same name, which interestingly ran at the same time as the television show, and was a rare example of the television show spawning the radio program instead of the other way around.
Anyone know if any of the stars or players of either the radio or television programs are still living?

Actually James Stacy was in one episode of Have Gun Will Travel on TV. He was also in 4 or 5 episodes of Gunsmoke and one of Cheyanne.

Sorry I didn't get around to answering this sooner. We did a "Have Gun-Will Travel" radio re-creation last June. Below the title was "Crow." We had actually done it before about three years ago. It was kind of a light episode, and Ty Hardin's ad-libbing made it hilarious when he did it back then, we repeated it and cast both him and Will Hutchins in it. They both had fans rolling on the floor. As far as players on "Have Gun-Will Travel" the only semi-regular on the tv series who to my knowledge is still with us is actress Lisa Lu who played "Hey Girl." I was in touch with her some years back. Of course Johnny Western was in a episode or two, and composed the famous theme which I know he'll be singing at our banquet this year. The only one I remember off the radio was John Dehner, but he's been gone for several years.
