I thought it would be interesting for everyone to share their personal answer to the question of "Who are they looking forward to meeting most at this summer's Memphis Film Festival"?
Actually, that may not be that easy a question when you consider the excellent guest line-up that will be appearing!
Also - are there any special items you are planning to be bring with you to get signed?
I'll start..
Looking forward to seeing Will Hutchins - I have had the opportnity to see him twice but missed out on both.
I'm bringing... A Daniel Boone DVD set for Darby Hinton to sign. A Sugarfoot comic book for Will Hutchins to sign A Laramie comic book for Robert Fuller to sign Still looking for more..

Looking forward to seeing George Kennedy...who I just noticed his face missing from the flier. As for autographs... $20 a pop kinda lets the wind out of your sails doesn't it. We've seen most of these guys a thousand times - It's nice to say hi, and the panels get interesting but that is about all. If the new people you have on the list show up, it will be great! Last year was nice.
Thanks, for keeping a good thing going!!!

I am looking forward to meeting most of the stars attending but expecially Will Hutchins, Clint Walker, Ty Hardin and James Stacy. Theirs are the westerns I grew up with and have many fond memories of. As for autographs, that isn't as important to me but I will be saving up what I can to get a few. Also looking forward to the "sing a long". It should be great fun.

Clint Walker. The Big Guy Himself. ;D But I doubt it. I just ordered his cd from him the other day. I can't hardly wait to get that in the mail. Are we allowed to put photos of ourselves on our avatar here? I wanted to put one of Lad and I.
Thank you

I am looking forward to seeing all of the celebs at this event. A Fan Club of Clint Walkers will be in attendance at this event. We can hardly wait, and most of us also love many of the other celebs who will be in Memphis. Its a win/win for us all. Thank you!!!!

I attended the Festival last year and thought it was super! So I can't wait to go back this year. I am really looking forward to meeting Clint Walker - I've always just loved Cheyenne. I am also looking forward to James Stacy, Hugh O'Brian, Lee Aaker. I'm pleased that Robert Fuller, Will Hutchins and Ty Hardin will be back. They were just super last year.
I don't mind paying $20 for their autographed picture. It was worth it to me!

I just can't wait to meet Robert Horton. Been looking forward to this fantasy since childhood. He is my favorite, but before wagon train there was Dick Jones and the Range Rider.

Also is The Memphis Film Festival on Facebook? I was wondering about that. No, we are not on Facebook at this time. Perhaps we will do that but it won't be until after this summer show is behind us. Thanx for asking.

Thank you for replying back to me. I appreciate you doing so. Out there we have found Johnny Crawford, Fess Parker, James Drury and so many more. And these are not from a website. Personal. I have added several to my facebook there. ;D Sandy

We are saddened by the death of Fess Parker. His potrayal of "Davy Crockett" was one of the highlights of my childhood. We will all look forward to hear Darby Hinton talk about his working relationship with Mr. Parker on the "Daniel Boone" series.

No, we are not on "Facebook." Showing our age and lack of technical prowess. If someone smarter than me can explain it to me and tell me why this is a particular advantage, we'll give it a try.

Most looking forward to meeting Clint Walker. Heard about the festival on the fan sites clintwalkerfans.com & clintwalkerfans.myfanforum.org (that info for "angel"). Should also be fun to meet Will Hutchins; I enjoy his postings in Western Clippings. Oh and, hi Sal!!
